This journal, published once a year, contains scholarly editions of unpublished documents concerning the history of Belgium, the former Southern Netherlands and the Prince-bishopric of Li\u00e8ge, from the Early Middle Ages to the 20th century.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=”988785″]Each actual text edition is preceded by an introduction which establishes the scope of the published document. Manuscripts presented to the Commission are subject to peer review by four members of the Commission. The contributions are written in one of the four following languages: English, French, Dutch or German, or even, exceptionally, in Spanish or Italian. All previous issues of BCRH are accessible online, not only on the site of Peeters, but also on Persee.fr.<\/p>\n
